About

The blog:

Tucson is a naturally beautiful place… especially at night. This blog is dedicated to those who wish to explore all things outer space from the desert Southwest. Tucson is an astronomical research hub, and is also rich in space art and science fiction. Arizona boasts a high concentration of  telescopes compared to the rest of the United States. Tucson is also home to Space artist and scientist William K. Hartmann, and many other famous space artists including Kim Poor. The great author, Ray Bradbury, lived in Tucson for two brief times in his life, and his desert home is said to have inspired his Martian settings.

This is a place to explore science, art, travel, photography, and science fiction as it relates to science and astronomy.

Enjoy.
